This project (funded with a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation) examines the development of mass transit infrastructure in Denmark from the 1950s to the present day, with a focus on Greater Copenhagen.

In this ongoing work, I explore in particular how national transportation spending decisions have been shaped by the interplay of the shifting geographies of market capitalism, on the one hand, and party competition, on the other.
